DISCONTINUED Shoko Kiln (F414): Clouds Taira - Off White Clay Kyusu Tea Pot (300 ml) 晶光白泥平丸急須

This beautifully, elegantly simple kyusu tea pot by the Shoko Kiln of Tokoname features an beautiful off-white clay crafted into an oval shape with an embedded steel mesh for steeping fukamushicha.

Left unglazed but high-temperature fired (yakijime), the pot will absorb the bitterness in your tea just a little, creating a more rounded flavor profile. Expect the pot to age as a result of this absorption, turning brownish in color over the years as a mark of your connoisseurship.

  • Volume: 300 ml
  • Size: about 16 x 14 x 7 cm
  • Material: Ceramic
  • Strainer: Embedded Steel Mesh
  • Note
  • Tradition: Tokoname-yaki
  • Producer: Shoko Kiln

This product has been tested to be free of lead and cadmium contamination. Do not use in microwave or dishwasher. Hand wash to clean.
