The Story

Here at Yunomi.life, while we buy, stock, and sell tea, we don't consider ourselves a tea company in the traditional sense of curating "the best" teas of Japan. What is "the best" anyway? 

Instead, we are an e-commerce platform established to help the small scale farmers and producers in Japan reach new audiences, and help those audiences—tea enthusiasts from Hawaiian Islands to the Isle of Man—discover Japanese tea in all its possible variations.

As we tried to become an omni-commerce platform by launching a cafe and shop this year, we are discovering that the 1000 teas from 200 producers is really hard to manage physically. How do you walk into a shop and navigate so many products without the benefit of convenient search bars, filters, and sorting? (Technology is so great!!)

Displaying the teas in the shop (discovering we don't have nearly enough space), we discovered that what we are essentially building is a tea library.

And this packaging, in its first iteration or alpha version, is both our attempt at organizing the teas of Japan in our store, as well as how you can organize your collection at home.

We will be shifting toward providing this packaging on standard products, but this your head start on obtaining the boxes.
