While widely consumed in East Asia; more recently, these beans are becoming more availableĀ in bio stores in the US and Europe. In Japan, it is very common to use these beansĀ to make bean pasteĀ for traditional Japanese sweets. If you do not have a sweet tooth, these beans are also nice in salads, or mixed in with rice.
